David Hooker
Water Damage Production Manager

David has been involved with ServiceMaster in one way or another since its inception. He was raised and grew up along with the company, being 5 years old when Paul and Linda took ownership of the Salisbury franchise. David graduated from James M. Bennett High School in 2001. During his high school years he worked off and on at ServiceMaster but also worked at a local hardware store where he learned about general construction, flooring and plumbing. After graduation David opted to start working at Service Master full time as a Carpet/Water Damage Technician and going to IICRC training for his certifications. David has now been working full time with the company for 6+ years and is the current Production Manager for the Water Damage Division. He has also completed his IICRC Journeyman's Water Restorer training which includes:

  • Water Damage Restoration Technician Certification
  • Carpet Repair & Reinstallation
  • Carpet Cleaning Technician Certification

  • David enjoys his job because he feels like he is making a difference helping people when they are distraught over the damage and uncertainty that comes with a major water damage in their home. Not only does he take pride in his job but he takes pride in the fact that he has a helping hand in restoring a homeowner's peace of mind.

In his free time David enjoys being in the outdoors. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, and taking Riley swimming, kayaking, and shooting sporting clays. Lauren Hooker
Fire Damage / Pack-out Services Production Manager

Lauren Hooker has been involved with ServiceMaster since I can remember. I have many memories as a young child coming to ServiceMaster and helping the crews do whatever they needed me to do, even if it was their chores. I am 22 years old now and really began to become interested with the company when I was 15. When I attended High School I was very involved in marketing and the DECA program. This triggered my interests in Marketing and Business. During my junior and senior year of high school I began a program known as; Marketing Work Co-Op. Marketing Work Co-Op is a program designed to give students a jump start on their desired career. This allowed me to begin my career with ServiceMaster, marketing to the local agents and adjusters. After I graduated high school I was offered a position as the Fire Production Manager. Now almost 5 years later I am still the Fire Production Manager and I love every minute of it.

One of the best aspects of my career is being able to help people in our communities regain, restore and keep peace of mind after a fire or smoke loss has invaded their homes. To further my knowledge I am certified by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification. In this program I have completed the following certifications; Upholstery and Fabric Cleaning, Journeyman Fire and Smoke Restorer, Odor control, and Fire and Smoke Restoration. I am scheduled to complete 2 more courses; Carpet Cleaning and Health and Safety this will give me the highest achievement through IICRC; Master Fire and Smoke Restorer.

In addition to the above certifications I am also starting continuing education program at Wor Wic Community College in April of 2008. I will be studying communication, supervision, leadership and professional business skills, this certification will take 3 years to complete. On a lighter note, I enjoy horseback riding and spending time with my Pomeranian, Monet. Some of my hobbies include, gardening with my mother, interior decorating, and cooking. I have been involved in Walk for Diabetes, Festival of Trees supporting the March of Dimes and Relay for life supporting Cancer. I am also a member of Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene and head of communications on the Women's Ministry committee. I take great pride in my career with ServiceMaster everyday is a new learning experience and that's why I chose this career.
